We work in close collaboration with our clients, we co-create. All our projects are bespoke yet follow the same step-by-step process.
RESEARCH AND BRAINSTORMING
Good design starts with good research. In this initial phase, we get to know you, your individual needs, your lifestyle, your family structure, and your interior design dreams. We discuss what you are looking for regarding arrangement, layout, and aesthetics. You are welcome to visit the Format LAB so you can further explore potential materials and have a more tangible experience of what’s possible. After assessing these factors, we begin to draft initial sketches and develop a bespoke project proposal based on your insights and budget.
DESIGN PHASE
In this phase, all those initial ideas begin to take shape. We will send you a compendium including mood boards, Pinterest boards, drawings, and insights about our thought process. You are welcome to come to the Format Lab to explore our proposal together. After our quotation is approved, we proceed with developing technical drawings of the design.
TECHNICAL DRAWING
We will finalize the design phase once all technical drawings are approved. Before starting production, we meticulously measure your living space to ensure every new element will fit perfectly with the rest of the environment.
PRODUCTION- GIVING PHYSICAL FORM TO OUR IDEAS
This part of the process is where we give physical form to our ideas. Our production is led by meticulous craftspeople who pour all their knowledge and care into everything we build.
INSTALLATION
We only install pieces that you have previously approved of. Our installation process is streamlined and time-effective, allowing you to enjoy your new space soon after we finish installing all elements.
