A warm and cozy family home
In the heart of De Pijp in Amsterdam, this home offers a place to slow down from the busy streets outside. A young family from England came to us with a clear ask: a completely new interior, designed from concept through to the finished cabinetry and every loose piece of furniture in between.

Warmth was the starting point for every choice we made. A rounded island in a soft, textured plaster finish anchors the kitchen, its ceppo di beige stone top echoing the herringbone oak floor underfoot. Walnut cabinetry curves gently along the far wall, its grain catching the light that filters in through the sheer curtains beyond. Walnut dining chairs gather around the table, and a cluster of glass pendant lights hangs low above it, casting a soft glow come evening. Every material was chosen to feel lived in, not just looked at.
The result is a home that feels exactly like what this family asked for: warm, cozy, and unmistakably theirs. A space built not just for how it looks today, but for the years of family life still to come.
